Our story
AndesRidge is the grower-exporter venture of the Leiva family, built on two generations of fruit farming in Chile's Colchagua Valley, in the O'Higgins region — a land world-renowned for the quality of its fruit, its exquisite wines and its beautiful landscapes.
The family's farming company, Agrícola La Capellanía, was founded more than two decades ago by Mr. Cristián Leiva Castillo. From the heart of the valley it has grown premium cherries and plums to the highest quality standards, in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way — preserving a centuries-old Chilean tradition while incorporating technology and innovation.
Professionals, technicians, women and men give life to our fields. AndesRidge carries that work forward — controlling quality from the orchard to the shelf and taking our fruit counter-season to China and across Asia.

Our orchards sit across Santa Cruz, Chépica and Teno — areas whose climate and soils are ideal for premium cherries and plums.

The family's first property, in the heart of the Colchagua Valley minutes from Santa Cruz, sharing its land with a tree park more than a century old.

Fertile Chépica land with solar panels and two Orchard-Rite 5-blade wind machines to manage frost and weather, plus protective covering over the cherries.

A cherry-only estate powered by solar generation and the latest technology, with six Orchard-Rite 2-blade wind machines protecting the harvest.

The largest estate, with its own irrigation reservoir and a park of Quillay and Eucalyptus trees. Seven 3-blade wind machines support production of the highest excellence.
